The main entrance of the factory should be situated in north, east or northeast, to gain excellent profits. The entrance should always be of a big size. A big factory should have doors on two sides. They should be in the north, east, northeast or northwest direction.
 

The major construction should take place in the southwest portion of the plot.
 

There should be more of open space on the northern and eastern sides of the plot.
 

The ideal place for storing the raw material lies in the western portion. For the finished goods, the appropriate place is the one lying on the northwest side of the plot.
 

The directions recommended for the placement of doors are: northeast or east or northwest.
 

If you wish to maintain a nice lawn, then north and east portions of the plot are appropriate.
 

The ideal location for constructing administrative area is northern or eastern side.
 

For staff quarters, the right place is the one lying in southeast or northwest zone.
 

According to vaastu shastra, the cabin of the important executives of the factory should face the north direction, while their sitting position should be in the southwest zone.
 

Ensure that all the staff and workers of your factory face east and their activity zone is positioned on the central, northern and eastern zones.
 

Vaastu shastra experts say that important decisions should be taken in the confines of southwest zone. Executives facing the north are also benefited.
 

The R & D department of the industry should carry on its activities in the northeast zone.
 

It is believed that all the activities pertaining to accounts and legal procedures of the organization should be confined to east zone.
 

If it is a dairy plant, the plastic bags should be stored in south. If you are operating a cold drinks or ice cream plant, make sure that the fridge and other cooling plants are located in the south-east corner or in the south corner.
 

In case of a chemical factory, the boiler should be installed in the south-eastern corner or in the south.
 

A compound wall is a must for any factory. The south and west area of the compound should never be kept empty or vacant.
 

A temple (even a small one) should be built in the northeast corner and kept neat and clean. Avoid cluttering the temple or stacking any factory material in there.
 

Toilets, be it in the administrative building or in any other part of factory, should be built in southeast or northwest direction. If a septic tank has to be built for that purpose, it should be placed in between north and northwest or between east and southeast.
 

Heavy raw materials stores can be planned in southwest, south or west direction, while semi processed materials need to be stocked in south or west side.
 

Light and auxiliary machines, work equipments and tools should be kept in eastern or northern sides, avoiding northeast, northwest and southeast corners completely.
 

Water pumps, bore-wells underground water tanks, pumps etc. are best located in northeast area only. If overhead tanks are to be constructed or erected, they should be located in the west. In any case, southwest and northeast area must be avoided for erecting an overhead water tank.
