Ideally, a office desk should not directly face the entrance door, but be located diagonally across from the door.
	The main piece of the office furniture should be located in such a way, that the owner can see the room’s entrance door when sitting at the desk. If it is impossible, hang on the wall a mirror to reflect the entrance door.
	In general, Feng Shui does not recommend facing a wall when sitting at the office desk. Such a position minimizes the flow of positive Feng Shui energy that should circulate around the owner of the desk. If, due to the lack of free space, there is no other choices, except for facing a wall, decorate it with a pleasant picture, such as a landscape. The picture will expand the space, and scatter the negative emotions created by a closed space.
	Place fax machine, telephone and computers in wealth area and future wealth area for more business.
	Tables and chairs should be arranged in such a manner that it allows the chi to flow smoothly through the office.

 

	If you want to be the leader in your industry, place a dragon the right hand side of your desk facing a window or door. The dragon can be placed in such a way that it looks into a water fountain. According to Feng Shui the dragon chases a pearl, so the water fountain.
	In your shop place the cash box in the wealth corner. Place Chinese coins tied together with a red ribbon on your order books.
	Do not keep cactus or other sharp looking plants in your office as the sharp leaves of these plants cause "Sha Chi" in the office.
	If the members of your staff are falling ill very often, then hang a metal wind chime made of 6 or 7 metal rods, that are about 1ft long. The sound of the metal chime is the ideal cure.
	The main door of your business or office should not open into your table, as the chi coming into the office will overwhelm you. This will create problems and obstacles and not good luck.
	The manager's office should not have two doors, as chi will enter the room through one door and leave it through the other.
	Hang a crystal at the entrance of your office or business as this will enhance chi. Hang a crystal at the window as well.
	Do not place an empty vase near the main door because the chi that enters the door will be sucked into the vase.
	Signboard of the office or business should be placed in the wealth area so that your competitors do not beat you.
	Keep your desk neat and tidy and keep the office clutter free too.
	Place the Three Legged Toad God next to the main door of your office. Ensure that it faces into the office it will bring luck and prosperity. Leave the coin in its mouth.
	Place Fu Dogs Male and Female near the door of your office to protect the office from evil influences.
	Even if your office space is just your own cubicle you can use Feng Shui in your workstation to improve luck and prosperity: Put your name outside your office room or cubicle so that everyone knows that this is your space.
	Decorate your space with things that you love. Bring things from home, pictures of your loved ones. It will remind you why you are working and what you want to achieve by working.
	Think positively. Remember that positive energy attracts positive energy. Thinking positively it will give you energy to do your job well.
	Display all your achievements. They all count. Along with them add pictures of things you have always wanted to do like taking a trip abroad or learning a new language etc.
	Doing this shows how much you have already achieved in life and how much more you can achieve.
	Bagua your desk in this simple manner. The middle of your desk is related to health so keep this area clean. The back left is the wealth area, keep a red envelope with 3 or 9 coins in this area to bring you luck. The back right hand corner of your desk is the relationship area. Place anything in twos, a picture of two items together, two flowers fresh or cloth ones or two small figurines.
	Keep your desk and your surrounding clean and clutter free. It is symbolic of your state of mind. The more organized you are the better you will work.
	Surround yourself with things that you love. Try different things and find out what makes you feel better and use those things.
